TI-89 Titanium Graphing Calculators

 

    The TI 89 Titanium is the upgraded version of the normal TI 89. The Titanium has four times the flash memory and is capable of a RAM speed up to 16 MHz. Texas Instruments came out with the TI 89 Titanium in the summer of 2004 and students have been thankful ever since.

 

     The TI 89 also comes with a USB port that allows you to connect to other TI 89 calculators or to a computer. This makes it possible to share programs or to upgrade the calculators software system. It also comes with many pre-loaded applications including CellSheet. This program along with the day planner and text editor makes the TI 89 Titanium much more than just a mathamtical device.

 

    The TI 89 Titanium is allowed on many high school and college tests including the SAT, Chemistry, AP Calculus, and Statistics exams. This is probably the most powerful calculator allowed as it is essentially a small computer.
