It contains 512 Kb of memory with a larger screen than the TI-80, the predecessor of the TI-73. This calculator has a link port feature utilizing 25 KB of RAM and a fast processor of 6 MHz. The TI-73 graphing calculator uses 4 AAA batteries and contains a lithium back-up battery. Texas Instruments also includes a 350 page manual with the calculator. It has illustrations and examples that are easy to follow and understand.
In 2003, the TI-73 Explorer came out, which is a slight redisign of the orignal TI-73. The TI-73 graphing calculator has plenty of power and features to be used for junior high, high school and college. It is very reasonably priced for the capabilities it holds.
